Saturday, August 11, 2018 9:30 am– Walk With a Doc at Frank’s Park in Hilliard!
Join Dr. John and friends at Frank park for stroll through the park! We will be answering questions about health and fitness and help give advice on ways to stay injury free! Wear a comfy pair of shoes, bring friends & family, and come enjoy the great outdoors with us! All fitness levels are encouraged to participate! We look forward to seeing you all there!

Friday, August 3rd & Tuesday, August 7th– FIT4MOM group with Dr. Missy!
1- Postpartum Group– “Stroller Strides”
2- Prenatal Group
* There will be 2 different Fit4Mom groups that Missy will be educating moms on proper core stabilization exercises and proper lifting techniques for lifting and carrying their babies and car seats. She will also discuss diastasis recti and ways to prevent it during pregnancy as well as postural changes that occur during pregnancy and postpartum!
Dr. John is taking over our Walk with a Doc program which will occur monthly, every 2nd Saturday of every month! Walks will being at 9:30am at Frank’s Park, unless noted otherwise. Walking is low impact, easy on the joints, & a great way to increase cardiovascular function! Additionally, longer and lower-intensity exercise such as walking, utilize our fat sources for energy! So come join us every 2nd Saturday of the month to enjoy the outdoors, learning about health and fitness, and enjoy each other’s company! All fitness levels are encouraged to attend!
Missy traveled to Hilliard Davidson to work with Girls XC team. She educated them on mental running cues and worked on muscle activation exercises to help combat common running injuries!
Dr. Missy and Saif traveled to Columbus Running Company’s Speed Group at Karrer Middle School in Dublin! They chatted with the group about the importance of form in order to prevent injury and introduced them to Dry Needling! The Runner’s also participated in a few muscle activation and hip stabilization exercises that would be beneficial for a higher level running regimen. They also learned how to improve their performance by implementing quiet, shorter strides during a run!
The CBus Beatdown came to Town for the FIRST time ever! This event, held at a Track and Field by Raw War Crossfit, was filled with blood, sweat, rain, and k-tape! We all braved the crazy weather and we were happy to be there to assess and tape up athletes! Congrats to everyone who participated!
